Lightweight sheets instead of heavy panels – only 1.5–4 mm thin and made with recycled Carrara marble.
A board-formed exposed concrete ceiling gives every room character – in an office, showroom, restaurant or loft. Instead of heavy panels or time-consuming plaster techniques, you clad the ceiling with our sheets: around 3 × 1 m, only 1.5–4 mm thin and fixed to a load-bearing substrate. The result is a generous ceiling surface with very few joints.
At Henkel, a ceiling was clad with HeavyRoll NEW YORK HR-01 – the board-formed texture looks like real cast concrete. All surfaces are handmade in Italy. HeavyRoll and Concrete Art are made of around 60%, Reborn of around 95% recycled Carrara marble. More ideas in our inspiration section: Concrete ceiling ideas.
All surfaces from our collections are suitable for ceilings HeavyRoll, Concrete Art and Reborn. Here is a design from our project with Henkel and five other ideas – from exposed concrete to wood-effect finishes.
Board-formed exposed concrete – installed on the ceiling at Henkel.
Smooth exposed concrete with tie holes – the classic concrete ceiling.
Weathered formwork concrete – for lofts, bars and restaurants.
Smooth exposed concrete made from around 95% recycled Carrara marble – calm and modern.
Striped wood effect – natural warmth for the ceiling.
Can a ceiling be clad with your sheets?
Yes. The sheets are only 1.5–4 mm thin and lightweight – creating a ceiling in exposed concrete, wood, marble or rust look without heavy panels. One example is our project at Henkel with HeavyRoll NEW YORK.
Which looks are suitable for the ceiling?
All surfaces from our collections HeavyRoll, Concrete Art and Reborn – for example exposed concrete such as NEW YORK, BETON ANKERLOCH, VINTAGE CONCRETE or Reborn Concrete as well as wood effects such as POMPEII and WOOD STRIPES.
How is the ceiling cladding delivered?
On rolls: our concrete, marble, stone and wood looks arrive on site rolled up – easy to transport and handle. Each sheet measures approx. 3,000 × 950–1,000 mm and is only 1.5–4 mm thin, so large ceilings are created with very few joints.
How is the ceiling cladding installed?
Quick and easy: HeavyRoll and Concrete Art are fixed with standard tile adhesive onto a load-bearing, flat and even substrate – no heavy material overhead. This saves time and money.
Which rooms are suitable for a concrete ceiling?
For offices, showrooms, restaurants, hotels, shops and homes – wherever the ceiling should become a design feature.
Is the material sustainable?
Yes. HeavyRoll and Concrete Art are made of around 60%, Reborn of around 95% recycled Carrara marble. Every sheet is handmade in Italy. Find out more on our page Sustainability.
