As with the Mikado play, the lines are crisscrossing – and give the wall a sense of tension and liveliness. MIKADO in concrete paint is laid without grout: this creates a continuous, naturally-looking surface without visible repetitions. Track size: approx. 2,800 x 1,000 mm.
HeavyRoll was used in the offices of Epic Games in Shanghai in a board-like cladding design. In the upper floors, where a massive concrete wall is not possible, it creates a real concrete-like atmosphere – easy to install, thin and quick to assemble.
How sturdy is HeavyRoll? We hang a track with only two nails and attach a full water bucket at the bottom – the track holds without tearing.
During the test, a HeavyRoll track is heated for minutes with a gas burner: The mineral surface does not burn, it only glows and retains its shape. Euroclass A2 according to EN 13501-1 (A2-s2,d0) – the second highest fire protection class, no burning spattering.
